This is a busy time for many of us with graduations, weddings and vacation planning. Many of us will be staying close to home this year and we invite you to come in and sew and knit or crochet with us.

We are gearing up for our 6th year anniversary in June. To celebrate our 6th birthday, we will be giving away 6 gift baskets, 6 customers to receive 25% off of regular price purchases for the whole year and lots of other prizes. You may begin entering your name once a day on May 1st. You may only enter your own name, no purchase necessary. More information will be coming, the drawing will be held on June 28th, need not be present to win.

We took a bit of a breather in April but our May calendar has a lot to offer:

• May 5, Linda Pysto is teaching her Puzzle Block class and on the 19th, her Free Motion Quilting class. 
  

• On the evening of May 6th, Judy is teaching the popular Yin-Yang Scrap bag and our Charm Party Tote will be on the 15th with Andrea. 
  

• Kim will start her Beginning Quilting series on May 17th.

• Andover: Poppies in purples and coral; The Very Hungry Caterpillar (we are waiting for our reorder); 9 bolts of very soft Need’l Love ticking (we made pretty dishtowels!)

Christmas and seasonal fabric is on its way in May.

• Need a new baby gift? Nancy’s has the felted rubber diaper pad fabric on the bolt, we put a flannel border around it-very practical and easy.

• small projects from Patchabilities, we now have fabric kits for most of these

•  even smaller projects from Pearl Louise Designs-these patterns feature three separate but related pieces that can be hung on the new Ackfeld table top frames. The pattern includes directions for all three pieces plus buttons. Come see our sample. It is so nice to have something that doesn’t require hanging on a wall!!

For our knitters: new cotton fleece colors, new Lamb’s Pride bulky colors (perfect hair for Joyce’s doll pattern), new Pagewood sock yarn and our addi Lace needles are restocked.
