Happy Spring from Nancy’s
Quilt Shop!
Once again, time is flying. We just got
used to Daylight Savings time and then before we knew it, Easter was over.
Take a breath this April and get caught up. If you and a friend would like
to use the classroom to finish those UFOs, just give us a call. We can
reserve the room on days with no class scheduled.
We have organized our spring calendars
and you can find them, with descriptions, online. Linda Pysto is offering
her Strip Club in three month increments. The group will meet every other
month beginning April 29. See our calendar for details. Beginning in May,
the second Friday of each month, Nancy Laussade will be hosting the Button
Up Club. We will be working on the popular Button-up
Wallhangings featured in the shop and online.
Our beginning classes resume in May, be sure to check out Kim Bolt’s
series for newcomers.
Linda Pysto returns with her Puzzle
Block Class and Free Motion Quilting in May. In June, Linda will teach
Rings That Bind and the Log Cabin “Round Pegs in a Square Hole”.
Have you caught the “bag bug?” Judy
Sloan is teaching the Ying-Yang Scrap bag on a Tuesday evening, May 6.
Andrea continues with her bags on Thursday afternoons: Charm Party Tote,
Frenchy Bag, and Sophia Bag.
Diane Nagle will be teaching the “Diamond
Dazzler” class in June, featuring the pattern from the "On A Roll
Again" book. She is also developing a class featuring fabrics from
the Elm Creek Quilt series.
