Greetings from Nancy’s!
We hope you have given yourself some “feet
up” time in the middle of the holiday rush! It has been great visiting
with everyone coming in with their finished gifts in tow.
We’ve been busy in the shop, too. Don’t
forget our two day, “After Christmas” sale. We will be offering 50%
off of all Christmas fabric, fat quarters, kits, books, patterns. Our
regular sale room will be hopping too. All red dot patterns will be $1.00,
sale fat quarters are 10 for $8.00, and we will be closing out all Woolfelt
and wool. All regular price rolled fat quarters will be “buy 6 of same
price for 40% off.
A great time to spend those gift
certificates. New fabric: Alexander Henry : a very interesting piece of
Japanese Anime fabric entitled Dragon Princess, very popular with the
pre-teen crowd; tooth fairy fabric; a 20- bolt collection of white on white
and white on cream from Marcus Brothers called Baby Basics: hearts, boats,
teddy bears, alphabet, bows, and more. Perfect for baby gifts; the new
Lonni Rossi line called Typospheres from Andover; Color Rhythms from
Kaufman; also from Kaufman our solids used for skin tones in dollmaking;
pre-quilted fabric and coordinates, perfect for totes! And the Moda
challenge fabric is finally here. It is an assortment of neutrals that
must be used in any amount in a quilt made from exclusively Moda fabrics.

We will be closed on Christmas Eve day
and Christmas Day, but we will see you bright and early on Dec. 26 and 27
from 9am-6pm for our two day sale.
And then, in January, our B-line
Quilting Frame and PC Quilter demo will be here on the 1st through the
3rd. We are all looking forward to this event, wouldn’t it be great to
quilt your own projects! Cheryl Phillips and Linda Pysto will present an
updated Rings That Bind Trunk show the evening of Jan. 13th at 6:30pm.
There is no fee, but please call to reserve a seat. Cheryl will then be
teaching classes in Jan. and again in March on different topics. Check out
our schedule and watch for samples. Our class schedule is out and online
through March. As usual, we will add to it.
We loved having Pat Campbell in the shop
for her workshop. Those in the class appreciated the room and personal
attention. Pat loved the shop and the students and would love to come back
next year. Let us know if you would be interested.
Trish Stuart’s
workshops are on Feb. 20 , 21st; watch for details and samples. Class size
is limited, so don’t wait to sign up. Don’t forget that we also sell
items online. We are part of the " shop hop" again in January and want to welcome
our out of town and out of state customers. You will receive a free fat
quarter with every purchase! Have fun hopping.
