All the fundamentals of quiltmaking discussed:
making color choices, selecting fabric, choosing notions and equipment,
analyzing block layout,
template making and rotary cutting. Learn to hand and machine piece, hand
appliqué and hand quilt.
This class provides a solid foundation for a lifetime of creativity and
fun making quilts!

CHENILLE TECHNIQUES ~ **W**

flannels or brushed cottons.

In this class we will make a cute Christmas stocking
that is quick and easy to make.

BEGINNER'S BASKET
Students will learn how to use a rotary
cutter to cut fabric strips,
how to sew a scant 1/4” seam, and how to use “Thangles” brand
paper for making half square triangles. During the second half of the
class,
students will be taught how to baste the quilt and attach a binding.

Rings That Bind
( TWO PARTS)
We will discuss and explore the
possibilities of what can be done with the interior portion of each double
wedding ring (the possibilities are endless). Design and plan pieced or
whole arcs. Linda will then walk you through the construction process as
you make either a table runner or a four block wallhanging. This new way
of putting together Double Wedding Rings has at least three advantages:
quilt each block before assembling the quilt, no small pieces cut for
pieced arcs and no binding!

PINEAPPLE PLACEMATS
These wonderful foundation pieced placemats are much
easier than they look!
Similar to log cabin technique, just add strips and flip your way around the
center.
Use 2 fabrics or several for a variety of looks.
They make easy, beautiful gifts-just in time for Christmas.
Make one to learn how, or, stay all day and make a set!
